Workdays at 24th Street Elementary's garden! In words and pictures

Workdays are that exciting time once a month when we get to come together as a community, get dirt under our fingernails, volunteer our time planting, weeding, or installing new garden artwork, learn something new (each workday has cooking or gardening workshop) and eat delicious food!

We have so many great pictures below we’ll let them speak for themselves!  But first, we’d like to share a timelapse of all the excitement.

We’d like to give a special thanks to Clarkie Photography for the incredible photos below documenting our March workday.

We have also had some great cooking demonstrations and would like to give a shout out to L.A. Kitchen and all the other individuals who have made our mouths water and fed us after some great garden projects.  And, as always, thanks to all our volunteers for all that you make possible!  We are so grateful and always so humbled by all we accomplish.

Hope to see you at our next workday April 18th!  If you have a group you'd like to bring to any of our workdays, please email Shelby Crowell, our Development and Volunteer Management Coordinator at shelby@gardenschoolfoundation.org .  (We want to make sure we have enough projects for everyone!)
